Towel – object of the month for November 2025

In November we will be exhibiting a special towel kindly lent by Rosa Serrano.

This is a handmade item with fringe at the top, lace trim, and the initials M and C embroidered in red thread.

This towel was used in the washroom to clean hands and face.

It has the unique feature of having the year of manufacture of the towel embroidered on it: 1895. We are looking at an object that is 130 years old.
