Céu e Mar – Pedro Ré – from July 5th to September 28th, 2025
In this unique exhibition, photography becomes the link between two distinct worlds: marine biology and astronomy, which visitors can appreciate in the photographs arranged in pairs. Above, the sky, below, the sea. In the middle, Pedro Ré’s perspective is expressed in 50 images.
According to the author, “photographing the sky is a natural ambition for many people, including photography and astronomy enthusiasts, nature lovers, and amateur astronomers. The necessary equipment is sometimes surprisingly simple (a camera, a tripod, and a cable release are enough to take the first astronomical photographs).” On the other hand, “underwater photography is a specialized field of photography that is currently within the reach of most divers.”
