The Museum of Luz was at BTL – Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market – from March 12th to 16th, 2025, at the EDIA stand, along with the Alqueva Interpretation Centre and the Noudar Nature Park.

The Museum of Light has resumed activities for the Senior Educational Service at the Lares da Luz, Granja and Mourão homes with the “Magic Silhouettes” activity. Participants are challenged to match trees to their fruits and share their experiences from their backyards and gardens.
On October 15th, the activity “Learning with History” took place as part of the “Time Workshop” project, at the Professor Francisco Honrado Pereira Basic School (Amareleja). During the activity, the students took on the role of archaeologists. This initiative aimed to raise young people’s awareness of the importance of archaeology.

The Museum of Luz concluded its activities with the homes with a sensory journey where taste was explored. Users were able to guess flavors known in the Alentejo region such as bolo podre (rotten cake), bolos fintos (a type of sweet bread), marmalade, sheep’s cheese, and lemon verbena tea.
On July 18, 2024, at 9:30 PM, the activity “Come and See the Stars – Night Sky Observation” took place at the Mourão River Beach. This activity is part of the European Blue Flag Program, in partnership with the Municipality of Mourão, APAA – Portuguese Association of Amateur Astronomers and ALBIREO.
The Museum of Luz held the “Photo Puzzle” activity at the Mourão River Beach, in partnership with Aderem – E9G Mourão.
The “Memory Game” is an activity that consists of finding the matching image of some objects from the Museum’s permanent exhibition, as well as some that are in storage.
