Sewing basket – Object of the month for September 2023

In September, we honor the art of sewing and exhibit a basket associated with this activity. Today, similar objects are still used primarily by women and young women who dedicate themselves to this activity in their free time.
It is a basket made of peeled olive wicker, using the crisscross and braid technique, in a truncated cone shape with an inverted base.
