Weeder – Object of the month for September 2024

In September, we exhibited the only weeder in our museum collection. The weeder was used for weeding farmland.
It has two handles, a set of five tines, and two knobs—one for adjusting the position of the intermediate tines and the other for adjusting the height of the wheel. Each knob adjusts the position using toothed systems. One front wheel also has a chain for attaching the weeder to a horse.
