Hand Towell – Object of the month for January 2025

We’re entering 2025, but we continue to emphasize textile-related objects.
In January, we exhibited a special towel.
It’s a handmade piece with fringes at the top, wide lace inserts, and the initials TM embroidered in red thread.
This towel was used at the sink to clean hands and faces. It’s quite likely that this towel was crafted as part of a trousseau.
