Coffee pot – Object of the month for September 2025

This month, we’re moving away from textiles and showcasing a ceramic object.

It’s a glazed clay coffee pot with a flat bottom, ovoid bowl, and a narrowed opening that forms a spout. It has a side handle. The object has cracks and flaws along the edge of the opening.

This coffee pot was used to heat or boil liquids near the fireplace.
