Pair of scissors – Object of the month for March 2026

In March we exhibited a pair of scissors used for trimming horsehair. These scissors feature two overlapping combs: a larger one with 32 teeth and a narrower one with 30 shorter teeth. The combs are attached by two metal handles connected to wooden grips. One of the combs is engraved twice with the manufacturer’s mark, La Coupe, along with its logo and an image of a horse’s head.
